About Us

Established in 2008, iNESS is a privately owned Australian business to specifically target the education of children in the dangers of the internet, cyber safety and cyberbullying. iNESS presentations include topics such as how to identify internet predators, safe ways to communicate online and children's rights and responsibilities when using the internet.

The driving force behind iNESS is the desire to equip as many children as possible with the knowledge to enable them to use the internet safely. Another key focus of INESS is to raise parents' and teachers' awareness of the potential dangers that our young people face on the internet.

Presentations are delivered by trained experts in the field of online investigations which ensures accurate, practical and up-to-date information. This is essential in the field of internet safety due to the rapidly and constantly changing face of the internet. Our desire is to meet and exceed expectations. Presenters are able to communicate their expert knowledge of this complex problem in an interesting and engaging way, at a level accessible to children. Practical demonstration of resources and protective measures, along with real case examples from Australia and overseas, bring the dangers of the internet to life for the audience.

iNESS provides an engaging presentation by allowing the audience to see the Internet through the eyes of a child and also shows the sad reality of the Internet as a medium for sexual predators.

In 2009 alone, iNESS reached over 100,000 students, teachers, parents and adults through over 1000 presentations.  The unique qaulity and aspects of the iNESS presentations arise as a results of former detective, Brettt Lee, spending years and thousands of hours using the internet under the guise of ficisious children, both male and female.  He has used all the programs used by our children and has an extensive knowledge as to how these programs operate.  He has spoken to hundereds of online internet predators who devote a large amount of time searching the internet for the most vulnerable people on our community, our children.  He has been personally involved with the interview, location, arrest and prosecution of hundreds of predators.  Having interviewed predators over numerous hours he has an intimate knowledge of how these individuals think and operate.  Nobody else in Australia can offer programs with this level of credability or insight.
